Garfield County Hospital District is seeking an outstanding Nurse Practitioner who is interested in joining our clinic/ED practice in beautiful, rural Pomeroy, Washington. Responsibilities

 

  • Exemplify the mission and values of Garfield County Hospital.
  • Proper and timely documentation of medical records not limited to: comprehensive evaluation; diagnosis; treatment planning; and treatment of patient.
  • Order lab tests and x-rays when appropriate and interpret test results, prescribe medications and treatments and ongoing medication management.
  • Instruct patients in preventative health medication instructions and self-care.
  • Respond to consultations and requests for specialty assessments, reporting back to referral source when appropriate.
  • Participate in medical staff and treatment staffing team meetings.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and peer review process as requested.

 

Requirements

 

Must hold a current NP license

 

Job Type: Full Time

 

Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 / year

 

Experience:

Emergency Department experience is preferred but our Medical Director is willing to train the right candidate.
